The program
1. About the program
Kartr is an AI assistant service operated by Ix Infrastructure, Inc. Kartr text messaging lets account holders receive assistant alerts and approval requests on their phone, and reply to their assistant, over RCS or text message.
The program is opt-in only. We never add a phone number on anyone's behalf, never use purchased or shared lists, and never send marketing or promotional messages through it. Messaging is optional: every alert and approval is always available in the Kartr app.
2. How to opt in
Only a signed-in Kartr account holder can enroll, and only for a phone number they prove they control:
Step 1. Sign in to Kartr at kartr.app and open Settings → Connections.
Step 2. On the Messaging connection, enter your mobile number.
Step 3. Read the disclosure shown with the form, then tick the consent box. The box is unticked by default, and the form cannot be submitted without it.
Step 4. Press Enable. Kartr texts a 6-digit verification code to the number: “Your Kartr verification code is …”.
Step 5. Enter the code in the app. Nothing is sent to the number beyond the code until it is verified. Kartr records when you consented, from where, and which version of the disclosure you saw.
The disclosure and consent box read:
- Kartr sends assistant alerts and approval requests to your phone by RCS or text message.
- Messages cover approval requests, calendar changes and invitations, and time-sensitive email alerts from the assistants you set up.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent isn't required to use Kartr — approvals are always available in the app.

3. Opt-in confirmation
Once your number is verified and you have opted in, Kartr sends one confirmation message:
“Kartr: You're subscribed to assistant alerts and approval requests. Msg frequency varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.”
4. What we send
Messages are triggered by your own account activity: an assistant you set up needs your approval, a calendar event changes or an invitation arrives, or a time-sensitive email lands. Message frequency varies with your usage. Examples:
- “Kartr: New invite — Design review, Thu 2:00–2:30 PM from Sam. Approve to accept, or Reject.”
- “Kartr: Your 3:00 PM with Priya moved to 4:00 PM today.”
- “Kartr: Time-sensitive email from Dana Lee (Acme): contract needs your signature by 5 PM today.”
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your choices
5. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, QUIT and OPT OUT also work). You will receive one final message and nothing after it:
“Kartr: You're unsubscribed and won't get any more messages from us. Reply START to turn them back on.”
Reply START to resubscribe after texting STOP.
You can also switch off text notifications in your Kartr settings at any time. Messages stop immediately, with no further text; to turn them back on, switch text notifications on again in your settings.
6. Getting help
Reply HELP to any message for:
“Kartr: Assistant alerts and approval requests for your calendar, email and files. Msg&data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Support: contact@ix-infra.com”
7. Your number and consent data
We use your phone number only to send the messages described here and to route your replies to your assistant. We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or text messaging opt-in and consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
